From TVFrenzy:

So its pretty much safe to say that Widmore has been actually trying to save them all, huh?

  • TVBuzzKill

I guess the hype and time of super fans with theories is over now?

    • dd

What are you trying to say?

      • TVBuzzKill

(typing slowly) The fad has died, since the show has its own script. You are in shock yourself, you just haven’t admitted it yet.

        • dd

(Typed slower than your misguided and stupid post)I was never a “theory” dork. I even understand what the word “theory” means and that the crowd using it was always off-base and foolish in application and analysis. I have also always understood this is not my show. I’m very satisfied that I do not know where it is going.

          • TVBuzzKill

hahaha, you called me a dork. And you failed to presume correctly. You think I am your father or something? My remark outed you.

          • dd

            What did you out?

You made a comment that has nothing to do with photographs. It’s really out of context.

The hype is gone? I think this whole season has left a lot of the “theory” turds out in the cold. Are you just catching on now?

    • ErasedSlate

Oh, heck no! but being so close to the end, there is desire by many to let things play out and begin the theories anew. Even Damon expressed that there will be a lot of discussion and speculation about the series after the finale.

It is not fad, it is incorporation. Certainly there is some narcissim at play, but that’s how some fans internalize the show. Some appreciate these insights, and others chastise them.

  • wowers

Last episode (“The End”) has been extended by 30mins.

  • brlebue

That music box looked familiar… Is it the same one that Sayid fixed for the french woman (I still don’t like calling her Rousseau) in S1?

    • ErasedSlate

FYI, This is Danielle’s music box. Danielle’s music box played something from Carmen, Claire’s music box played “Catch a Falling Star.” Thanks lostpedia.

      • brlebue

So then Claire’s music box is of some other significance. I wonder if we’ll ever find out…

  • I’m rooting for Smokey to kill Widmore, dunno why just gut instinct. And where the hell is Ben Linus?! Hangin on the beach with Richard?

  • Senor Entertainment

    Can one die in Limbo?

  • Senor Entertainment

Richard, Ben and Miles dig the well

  • TVBuzzKill, Jr.

Dad gave dd the last word.
The photos are pointless pablum… this is a mirror.

    • dd

I still want to know how you think you called me out. Are you saying you just outed me as a theory dork even though I’ve been pretty vocal about how theory dorks are wasting their time?

  • Walter L. Newton

    A theory… “The End.”

Some ruminations on the possible outcome of the whole series. The sideways timeline is an anomaly, it wasn’t meant to happen, but it did because of The Incident. It’s a “satisfying” timeline, certain people have what they want, others have the possibilities of obtaining what they want and the remaining characters are secure in what they already have. The most important aspect of the sideways timeline, our favorite characters are still alive.

The Island is a “harsh mistress,” and those who are chosen to “protect” it have to make decisions way beyond their own personal interests. Jack has been chosen, and before the very end, all of our beloved characters in the original timeline will be dead, sans Jack and the constant to the sideways timeline, Desmond.

Jack will have to make a decision, kill the MIB, become the new protector of The Island (protecting it for what purpose, we will find out), let the sideways timeline collapse and go “poof” out of existence, or continue, with all his “friends” still alive and well in an alternate reality. The biggest decision he will have to make is loosing his relationship with his son in the sideways timeline.

In a sense, I believe the ending will will be totally in Jack’s control… accept destiny or try to cheat fate in order to “save” his friends. What do you think he will do?

    • adam118

I like, plausible. Not EXACTLY what I think will happen, but it’s plausible and I wouldn’t be upset over it.

  • sparafucile

    What happened to Lapidus????

    • adam118

He am deader. One of the doors hit him when it was blown off its hinges by the water. So, he was KO’d and drowned.

  • Wanda

Why was the scene in the cages at night but the scene at the Ajira plane and then with the sub during the day?

    • trebuchet

This was very likely one of the many continuity errors this season has had so far; notice that when the surviving losties get to the beach after the exlosion of the sub it is night again, even though it was evident that not a whole day had passed.

Things like this and and Pierre Chang not having aged after 30 years in the ATL just for the sake of having a recurring actor appearing again for the final season really start to piss me off. This show has always had small continuity errors which are unavoidable on the long run on such a complicated show, but after six years you would think the writers would have sorted these things out and learned from their mistakes. not the case here, sadly.

  • nice post,thanks for share.

  • I know this is seriously boring and you might be skipping to your next comment, but I just wanted to throw you a big many thanks – you cleared up some things for me!

  • I cannot wait you may compose some a lot more about mistress and dominatrix , you got exact point , maintain on writing!

  • Well I can see by the volume of comments that people are fairly into this. Running a blog is difficult because people won’t always agree, but that’s what makes it so much fun.

  • I needed to put you that very little note just to thank you so much as before on your gorgeous solutions you’ve documented on this website. It was quite strangely generous with people like you to present publicly precisely what many individuals would have advertised for an ebook to generate some money on their own, and in particular now that you could possibly have tried it if you ever considered necessary. Those basics likewise acted like a easy way to fully grasp that other people have a similar interest just as my very own to see a little more with reference to this matter. I think there are a lot more pleasant instances ahead for individuals that looked at your blog post.
