oceanic.jpgLet there be no question about the validity of the recent press release announcing the re-opening of Oceanic Airlines.  This is definitely something that fans of “The Lost Experience”  should be paying very close attention to.  There have been subtle, murky hints of a new ARG, and I suppose the official press release from ABC announcing the new Oceanic Airlines website, www.flyoceanicair.com, means it’s okay for me to tip my hat that an unnamed insider told me a while back that I would be very happy come January 1st.

So far, my buddy’s at DarkUFO have been totally on the ball snaring audio and deciphering clues.  Quoting Dark’s site here:

“All that is currently there is

!F?2EC7 ;GJJ 3AA96] } ICC2 C=C G7 2CCBCB]

Which when decrypted reads “CHANGES WILL OCCUR! A KEEN EYE IS NEEDED!”

The Press Release From ABC Follows:

Shame thelostexperience.com site appears to be out of your hands, but I’ll be checking here for all my ARG goodness anyhow.

  • DharmaQueen

Oh awesome! I wonder if Rachel will be back? Doc?

  • djlena

    HOLY BUCKETS JOHNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where can we read the press release!

And, I’d just like to say that I am SUPER EXCITED!!! I can’t wait for the 31st….

  • WOW, I knew this would come to light. To say I am excited would be the understatement of the year. The Drake hinted at this a LONG time ago as well. Guess he knows a thing or two as well.

  • DocArzt

Nightmare: I included the press release above.

  • DocArzt

DharmaQueen: I’m going to guess no.

Hey Doc! So glad I found you again! Did anyone else call the phone number on the press release? I did, and while it didn’t say anything really new, it did say to leave your name and number and they would get back to you. I didn’t know what to do, so I hung up. Did anyone else call?

  • @ ellejaygee: I called and did the same thing as you. I’m going to call back and just say I was interested in booking a flight with my name and number…see if I can get a call back.

@ DocArzt: Sorry, didn’t realize that was the press release. Thanks!

  • DocArzt

No worries. I need to create a block-quote field so things like that will stand out.

Do you know if this is related or pure coincidence? Forbes online magazine posted on December 11 a listing of the largest fictional companies, and Oceanic Airlines came in at 18. Some of the details are different from what ABC publishes, though.
