Another Country Has Better LOST Promos Than The USA…

CaptureIs it lack of budget, or a statement about the intended audience?  It seems like the markets outside the US are going all out to promote LOST’s final season.  I guess you could look at it in a couple of ways: these artsy high-production promos surely honor the show and speak to the artistic sensibilities of the audience; so in some regards, they actually expand on the experience for us fans.  On the other hand, no amount of well produced promos could possibly make us five-season-veterans any more excited for the return of LOST.  Promos or none, we’re all rabid.  Still….

  • I love the music! Wim Mertens, Struggle for Pleasure. Very nice touch.

Yeah – this just shows that the people in Burbank really don’t know how to release excellent promos for the USA.

The music, the actual usage of the island, the computer generated flyers, along with using New York City shows that Israel makes awesome promos. Go Israel!

Wow, thats cool. Makes a nice change from RECYCLING clips from the past.

Why is it that the poster never mentions it’s from Israel? Like, what’s wrong with that? Probably just doesn’t want to start a flame war, but that’ll happen regardless, especially with posts like this and Caesar’s above (not dissing you man, I agree w/ you 100%).

This was a fantastic promo. It hit upon the subtle elementals of the Island: the jungle; the mountains; the Hurley bird; the water fowl that flock there; the endless expanse of ocean… and brings it all back to LA. Absolutely beautiful imagery and the music made it emotional to boot. Loved this!

Good, but not my favorite of the final season promos. This could have been used for any season, even the first. All the others, including the US ones, have had that “It all comes down to this” feel.
