Is it lack of budget, or a statement about the intended audience? It seems like the markets outside the US are going all out to promote LOST’s final season. I guess you could look at it in a couple of ways: these artsy high-production promos surely honor the show and speak to the artistic sensibilities of the audience; so in some regards, they actually expand on the experience for us fans. On the other hand, no amount of well produced promos could possibly make us five-season-veterans any more excited for the return of LOST. Promos or none, we’re all rabid. Still….
