115078_160The tradition of naming the season finale twist has been passed over to the fans.  That’s right, after four seasons of coming up with ridiculous codewords for season finale twists, Damon and Carlton have decided they would like the opportunity to tease us for once.  According to TVGuide the boys will formally announce the initiative in this week’s audio podcast, which will air on Thursday. So check back for details on how you can submit your suggestion.

My suggestion, officially:

Wilhelm’s Revenge!

If you don’t know what a Wilhelm is, you need to wiki it, right now.  Never mind, I’ll do it for you.  (Wilhelm’s Scream).

  • Stephen King loves LOST, the writers love Stephen King. I’ve been a S.K. fan since his first book. I’ve got plenty of his books and films all on dvd except for this one which I will replace with a dvd. It’s called Maximum Overdrive – I love this movie! S.K. directed this and didn’t believe he was good, but he is wrong. It’s actually awesome. Trapped, blowen stuff up, killings, growing body count. It rocks.
The earth is caught in the Rhea-M comet tail for 8d 4h 29m not 23 15s – the entire planet is enveloped by a green haze. A group of people are at war with others season finale twist > The Dixie Boy

        What is challa?

  • Sorry, Doc. Much as I love a good Wilhelm Scream reference, I had to go with “Crossing the Streams.” 😉

  • spinflip

No, it’s gotta be something in Latin, like ‘equus ligneus tempus transfiget’.

    “Aude Sapere”

It was the motto of the philosophe Voltaire. One of the few philosophes not to have their names put into this show, probably because itd be a bit odd to have some French student with the name Voltaire. Doesn’t have the ring it used to.

Brownie points to anyone who can figure out what it means.

    • Since Sapere Aude means “dare to know”, I would guess it means “know to dare” 😛

  • “unus magis vicis”
Kudos to anyone you can figure out what that means.

  • Uncle Beaver

    “The contradictory causal loop”

    “The SkyNet Imperative”

    “Call me Biff Tannen”

  • As mentioned in the friend connect comments section, my proposal is
    “The Hurtling Biot Turtle”

You can understand it partially if you know the story of the hurtling turtle:

Deep within a forest, a little turtle began to climb a tree.
After long hours of effort, he reached the top, jumped into
the air waving his front legs and crashed into the ground.

After recovering, he slowly climbed the tree again, jumped,
    and fell to the ground.

The turtle tried again and again while a couple of birds
sitting on a branch watched his sad efforts. Finally, the
female bird turned to her mate. “Dear, ” she
chirped, “I think it’s time to tell him he’s

The “Biot” part of course has several meanings.
I think it is not too hard to figure it out. 😉
